1   Link   GIANT: Grenoble Innovation for Advanced New Technologies (France)
In Grenoble, at the heart of the French Alps, the GIANT partnership is forging dynamic new links between research and industry to foster the technological breakthroughs of the future. The aim of the GIANT project is to respond to major challenges confronting our society today, such as: renewable energies and environmental problems, bioscience and human health, and communication technologies.

At the heart of the MINATEC innovation campus, LETI is an applied research center for microelectronics and for information and healthcare technologies.
3   Link   MINATEC, Grenoble (France)
The MINATEC innovation campus is home to 2,400 researchers, 1,200 students, and 600 technology transfer experts on a state-of-the-art 20-hectare campus offering 10,000 square meters of clean room space. An international center for micro and nanotechnologies, the MINATEC campus is unlike any other research facility in Europe.

Funded by the Australian Research Council, the Australian Research Network for Advanced Materials (ARNAM) links together scientists and engineers from diverse disciplines under the one banner to substantially enhance the impact and outcomes of materials research.

Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) – a national research organization that serves to strengthen the technological competitiveness of Taiwan.
7   Link   National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan)
National Tsing Hua University has a long and proud history.First established as the Tsing Hua Academy at Tsing Hua Garden in Beijing in 1911, the Academy was renamed as National Tsing Hua University in 1928 as its curricula expanded to that of a full-fledged university. In 1956, National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) was reinstalled on its current campus in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Academia Sinica, the most preeminent academic institution in the Republic of China, was founded in 1928 to promote and undertake scholarly research in sciences and humanities. After the government moved to Taiwan in 1949, Academia Sinica was re-established in Taipei.
