Research

- Ring-opening polymerization of lactones and cyclic diesters. Preparative aspects and elucidation of reaction mechanisms are studied.

- Design, synthesis, characterization and evaluation of new catalyst/initiators for ring-opening polymerizations mainly concentrating on the elements Sn, Ti and Bi.

- Syntheses and characterization of aliphatic polyesters by polycondensation methods.
